Home: Living in Kent, Ohio, grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Profession: Grocery store manager
College: 1 year at University of Minnesota
Family: Married 26 years, 2 step daughters, 6 grandkids
Favorite Teams: Twins, Wild
Highest Athletic Achievement: Winning NHAA (New Hope Athletic Assn) league championship the summer I was 15. Went 10-0 as a pitcher and threw a 2 hit shutout in Championship game. Sadly, I peaked at 15.
Best Game Attended: 1987 ALCS Game 4 at Tiger Stadium. Twins won pivotal game. Very tense the whole game, turned when Laudner and Gaetti picked Darrell Evans off 3rd in 6th, Twins went on to win 5-3 for commanding 3-1 series lead. They finished it off the next afternoon. Went to that one too, but it was kind of anti-climactic after the night before.
Favorite Food: A good steak, probably a ribeye
Favorite MLB Ballpark: PNC Park in Pittsburgh, only been there once. Hope to get back soon, maybe when Twins play there in April.
Favorite Movie: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Favorite Musical Performer: Art Garfunkel- just saw him perform last Saturday!
Why I love PGB: Building my team. Interacting with other managers. Pretty much everything except the Commissioner part. Ha!
