I traded for Freddie Freeman and until recently Miguel Rojas had a higher batting average than him thanks to HAL, he finally passed him with a couple of 3 for 5 games.

71 games into the season Rojas still leads Freeman by 10 points in BA so HAL is closing the gap slowly.

No, but I guess it evened out. HAL has a sense of humor.

I'm hoping Mike Trout gets injured so Mickey Moniak gets called up from SLC to the Angels. I'd just be happy with any ABs at this point.

Independent league, kind of like the old St. Paul Saints at Midway stadium. The players were all Mexican on the Vibes because of an agreement as an unofficial farm team for the Acereros de Monclova of the Mexican league. They were pretty raw compared to the Idaho Falls team who looked much more solid in the field.

Wow this team could be historically bad. It's 19-0 Chukars (it's a kind of a partridge) in the 4th inning. Looks like Vibes are heading for their 11th straight loss.

I was too worried that LaMahieu was headed towards an end like Brad Hawpe. Hawpe had 4 phenomenal years with the Rockies then flamed out, shipped to San Diego and was done at age 32. LaMahieu is probably a smarter hitter and could adjust so we'll see, but for the first time ever I have two decent catchers, at least for one season.

Still likely to be a good pick, but if you were counting on the #1 pick you could be out of luck. Not complaining, just stating one of the things that will change. Sounds like a lot of thought was put into the changes so thanks to each of you on the committee.  I thought 34 players was aggressive at first, but it will help make a lot more usable players available to the up and coming teams.

So trading for future draft picks from the teams at the bottom of the league won't be as valuable since they are no longer guaranteed to be top draft picks.
