NEW! The draft page is now fully populated (thanks Swen!), so it's time to volunteer to help with the HTML coding by commenting below which MLB teams you'll take. Best way to help is to email me the URL links to each player, in the exact order as shown on the draft list. No other coding is necessary on your end.
After an appeal and review process, the penalties to Vancouver and Brooklyn for overuse have been modified. VAN will now draft in #17 slot (instead of #18) and Brooklyn's Eric Haase's overuse penalty has been adjusted to 77 ABs for the 2022 season. Penalties were still warranted for the overuse, but since there had been no clarity or procedure, the appeals were heard and penalties reduced by 25%.
Reminder that 2023 draft picks can't be traded until the 2022 draft begins. I've already had to void/postpone two deals, so please don't send me trades until they can been approved and posted.
NEW! The draft will begin Sunday, February 13.
NEW! During the recent winter meetings, it was unanimously agreed by all present Groundouts that we'd move to a two-division alignment and to address playoff structure, and I've convened a committee including Jeff Burkett, Scott Benson, Johnny Walbert, Jeff Meyer, and Ken Simone to guide the process. An arrangement will be announced in early January.
Great season Groundouts—looking forward to an even better 2022. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and best holiday wishes to all!
Hardest part is figuring out which round to draft Packy Naughton
Thanks to everyone for picking up the slack for those of us that absolutely hate doing this! Much appreciated.
Only teams left are Oakland and Toronto.

I will do Washington and Philly
I just back-filled Baltimore, LA Angels, NY Yankees, Minnesota and Kansas City.

I'll do Clev, Cin and Col I think they are the next three not done
I will take Arizona, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago White Sox
Keep it in the thread so we can all see which teams have been claimed. Thanks!
Do you want us to post the teams we will cover on this thread or in an email to you? PS. Thanks Swen for doing the heavy lifting!
Each Baseball-Reference player link should be on a separate line, so it should look something like this:
LOS ANGELES

https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/g/grayjo02.shtml
...followed by the rest of the team's links
